Dante Smith

Dante Smith, Senior Investment Analyst, is dedicated to the ongoing innovation of WealthSource’s investment platform. He is passionate about investor education as the foundation of client conversations. This means Dante takes time to explain the 'why' behind custom investment solutions discussed in your meeting. You can feel confident that Dante’s goal is to guide you to a better understanding of the solutions offered to you.

Before joining WealthSource, Dante led his previous firm's Investment Committee and was the architect of its investment platform, which required that he perform in-depth research on securities, implement a new trading system, construct investment models, and perform due diligence on alternative investment managers.

Dante graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and with a Master of Business Administration degree. While earning his Bachelor of Science degree, Dante presented research that he authored on behavioral economics at the University of Cambridge and Oxford University.

Dante currently lives in Dallas, TX with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, spending time with his family, and traveling.
