Nic Gookin

Nic’s career in the financial services industry started with a hands-on internship at WealthSource, where he not only learned how the investment management side of the industry operates but also saw how that knowledge directly translated into a client’s financial plan. Nic then graduated on a full-merit scholarship from Colorado Mesa University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance in December of 2017.

Since then, he continues to be an advisor for a select group of WealthSource’s clients, but his primary role is as the firm’s Senior Trader. Nic brings with him an old-fashioned work ethic along with a deep understanding of trading systems and portfolio management technology.

Nic lives south of Houston, Texas with his wife, McKayla, and their two wiener dogs, Leo & Coco. They enjoy working out and doing DIY home improvement projects on the weekends.
