Justin Goodbread, CFP®, Chief Strategy Officer for WealthSource Partners, LLC has been awarded the Exit Planning Institute’s (EPI) most prestigious award. On Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, The EPI held its annual Excellence in Exit Planning Awards ceremony. One of 3 nominees, Justin was selected as this year’s Peter Christman Exit Planner of the Year. During the event, the EPI also named this year’s Leader of the Year, which Justin received in 2018, and Member of the Year awards.
Throughout his career, Goodbread has established himself as one of the leading voices in the financial services industry on financial planning for business owners through his work with clients and via Financially Simple, a portal of educational resources aimed at helping small business owners take control of their financial pictures.

To be eligible for the Peter Christman Exit Planner of the Year Award, nominees must hold a current CEPA certification and practice exit planning, manage exit planning engagements, educate business owners and advisors, or provide industry-changing exit planning solutions or tools that can be directly tied to changing outcomes for business owners and leading advisors. Additionally, to be selected, nominees must make significant contributions to the industry while exemplifying the core values and characteristics of the EPI and the CEPA designation and make a uniquely significant impact on the larger exit planning profession on a local, regional, national, and/or international scale. Neither Justin Goodbread nor WealthSource paid any fees or other consideration to secure a nomination for, or to receive, this award.
