Gene Gordon joined WealthSource Partners after 14 years of working for a large broker/dealer.  Gene believes that he brings a unique perspective on deepening client relationships. Gene’s father was in the business for 30 years, and Gene joined him to start his career. Gene and his father had many discussions about legacy, wealth transfer, and supporting families and clients as they begin a transition. It has been this focus on understanding family dynamics that has brought Gene to believe that his work is meant to increase the conversations between family members regarding financial dreams and goals. In addition, Gene’s care for and about clients as they age is a focus of his practice.

Born and raised in Palo Alto, CA, Gene graduated college from Boston University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts, with a focus on International Relations. After college, Gene lived in New York City for eight years, working for a major lifestyle brand in their retail division. It was during this employment that Gene grew to understand the importance of care, service, and the value of interpersonal relationships.

Gene is actively involved in the community supporting and coaching little league; Gene continues to play his sport of choice, soccer, in a competitive Sunday men’s soccer league.
